Chuck Hand, an eighth-generation Georgian, was born in Columbus and raised in Taylor County where he continues to live. With a career in the construction industry, Chuck works as a Construction Superintendent, managing and supervising new home building projects.
Chuck and his wife Mandy have been together for over 12 years. They faced a significant challenge following a severe car accident 11 years ago. Despite doctors' prognosis that Mandy would never walk again, the couple's faith, prayers, and determination helped her defy the odds. Although she still experiences chronic pain and related issues, they continue to push forward together.
As Mandy's three children entered adulthood, the couple found a renewed sense of purpose in political activism. Eager to enact positive change, they attended political events and deepened their understanding through various classes and workshops.
Chuck has been an active Republican Party member since 2019 and is heavily involved with Georgia's Second Congressional District Republican Party. He currently serves as Vice Chair of the North District's Republican Party and Vice Chairman of Taylor County's Republican Party while having held Chairman and Secretary roles in Taylor County in the past.
In January 2021, Chuck and Mandy participated in the "Stop The Steal" Rally, where they were later arrested for nonviolent protest participation. Despite facing petty misdemeanor charges of picketing, they remain devoted to their values and continue to advocate for their beliefs and freedoms.
Together, Chuck and Mandy have four children and four grandchildren who all reside in Taylor County. In their leisure time, they enjoy attending political events throughout the district and state, spending time with family, and watching Georgia Bulldog football games during the fall season.
After overcoming adversity throughout his life, Chuck Hand serves as an inspiring example of persevering with faith, determination, and hard work – all guided by God's hand – showing his children that anything is achievable.
Chuck Hand has both the GRIT and BACKBONE that it takes to stand up to the radical left. He and his wife, Mandy, attended the "Stop the Steal Rally" in Washington, D.C. on January 6, 2021, to protest peacefully. He and his wife were sentenced to serve time in Federal Prison for misdemeanor picketing charges. They were non-violent protesters who were made examples of by a two-tiered justice system and a weaponized Department of Justice by the Biden Administration.
Chuck and his wife, Mandy, have been active in Taylor County and the GA 2nd Congressional District GOP, volunteering since first becoming involved in 2019. Chuck has served as the Chairman, Vice-Chairman, and Secretary for the Taylor County Republican Party. He was recently elected to serve as Vice-Chair of the Northern portion of the District. Pictured is Chuck and Mandy being recognized at the 2023 GA 2nd Congressional District GOP Convention for their volunteer work.
Chuck is a Construction Superintendent by trade. When not building homes or being involved in Grassroots Political Activism, he enjoys time with his family. He is a committed Husband, a devoted Daddy, and a loving "Big Daddy" to his grandchildren. He was born and raised in the Georgia 2nd Congressional District, where he still resides today. Chuck is the embodiment of the everyday working class.
